31-05-2004:
More than one year ...... :( Please accept my sincere apologies for being so lazy recently, since, in fact, I was not lazy at all. The first thing that needed fixing was the business end of this site. So the webshop is new.
Next in
line will be the Dora Galleries with one addition to the Ta152 and two for the D-9, very likely this summer!
Thanks to those that still had hope and came back from time to time.
18-04-2003:
Something for a change. “Forgotten Battles” has been released recently. Thus I HAD to devote some time to skin-work. First in line is Black 10 of JG26. You can download it
here. 10-03-2003:
No, not part 3 of the updates. Instead we decided to completely update the
19-01-2003: Part two of Dora updates ready here . Will there be a part 3? Not in January, but ....
30-12-2002: Sorry, I did not make it until Christmas. High traffic indicates there was a lot of expectation, so here is part one of the update...... I wish you a very Happy New Year!
11-10-2002:
4 and a half month without any updates! Now I can no longer stand it. Two new big-size images were added to the
Dora Gallery. One photo was the basis of one of the T-shirt schemes the other one was
unpublished before. Thanks for you patience. I won’t promise a Christmas update this year, but I try.... A business thing: The shop section update will take some time. However, we now also accept
25-05-2002: Two more images available now. One of them is now in often requested sepia-tones. We hope you like it. Have a look....
06-04-2002:
Another, more extensive update to the shop. First of all it’s English content is growing reflecting the growing interest in our artwork from international customers. However, the expansion to Japanese will have to wait.
Secondly there is a
preview
of two new images which will be added soon.
11-03-2002:
Sorry guys, just needed to update the shop section. Had to say goodbye to the Deutsche Mark and welcome the Euro. In the process I`ve also beefed up the preview area of the images we sell.
We still need to add an English page for our international customers.
Recently the customer base has been expanded to the US.
21-12-2001:
The Christmas 2001 Update is done. THREE new “Langnase”-images in colour and increased size. Hope you like them. Here
.
Secondly I have added some essential
links for Il-2 -the mother of all prop-flightsims- for some time to come.
And finally: Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all visitors and customers.
21-10-2001:
Promise kept! Although it is getting tougher and tougher to find Dora colour-images in the secret archives ;). Sometimes quality is lacking but you would expect that, wouldn’t you?
Enjoy!
15-10-2001: Added some pictures I took at Rheine in September and found out either my scanner or my abilities to use it are limited. The original photos are much better, so at least I have some consolation for myself ;) Also, I will add another Langnase picture this month, the first anniversary of DORA9, promise. Thanks to all visitors!
10-8-2001: Replaced two pictures in the Langnase gallery with new one`s. Hope you like them.
17-7-2001: And already the next update. This time another addition to the Langnase gallery albeit a very special one. Two images of JG26 Doras were “discovered”. One of them is even in COLOUR! It shows two Doras patrolling presumably over the North Sea.
16-7-2001: Finally I added a couple of links to my personal favourites which were long overdue.
12-7-2001: Oh Dear! The voting-form was apparently not working very well. Thanks for informing me. I have thus canceled the
voting stuff for the moment.
I needed to add some legal stuff for online-shops called “Allgemeine Geschäftsbedingungen”. Better to have those things straight.
Finally I wonder why most of the people go for the light-gray coloured
T-Shirts. The dark ones really look nice. The next update will thus include pictures of the real thing(s) rather than the pure images so you get a better idea how great they look in reality. Unfortunately producing these pictures may take some
time because Claudia Schiffer and Heidi Klum are both apparently pretty well booked for 2001 ;) I would appreciate suggestions for a workaround.
9-7-2001: Ironed out some shop-specific errors and recalculated some prices. Still it displays some weird horizontal lines and misaligned form fields on Netscape 4.x browsers. Is this a Netobjects problem? Anyway: I would very much appreciate if you would VOTE for your favourite image in the shop section. Thank You.
5-7-2001: The Shop is open now!
It`s still in the trial stage and it`s in GERMAN, since I expect most of our customers to be local (see further below for “international” business relations).Basically we
are just starting up this kind of passion-business, so for now you can get Dora-specific artwork
only on garments. However, we concentrate on being something special in terms of a.) totally self-made artwork, b.) use of high-qualitiy materials only and finally c.) strictly limited editions.
Should you wish to obtain some of our products, do not hesitate to contact the mail order department ;) and we should be able to arrange something.
3-5-2001: The Simulation part is gone, I have to concentrate on the mainstream part of this site. However, sooner or later I am going to add a shopping section for Dora artwork. Added a new museum page with very detailed FW-190 A8 images and a preview of the next Langnase image to come. Also, some technical data on the FW-190 D9 are accessible now right here.
24-4-2001: Added two “Langnasen” images , one of them is a very rare “Dora in Action” photo. Added two personal airshow pictures (Volkel 2000 and Kleine Brogel 1991).
9-4-2001: The intropage was reworked to match the overall site style. Added two links on the Galleries page I forgot.
8-4-2001: Major site rework, as you might have noticed. 1- New approach with respect to my artwork (see the
Langnase-Gallery) 2- New site style
(Netobjects Fusion4 has some unexpeced limitations, I found out the hard way). Still there are parts I have not worked on. Everything was
focused on Langnasen work and the site style. After all this is the DORA- website!!
3 - Some pages have new titles. 4 - New pictures!! 5- Lots of minor revisions, text or graphics.
16-2-2001:
After investing some money and scratching together some hours in a row I like to present you my most recent artwork: “Eine Minute bis zum Start”. It is another pseudo-historical image of my favourite kite. The preview and link to it can be found on the
Dora page. Secondly FalcoN sent me
some nice 190A images he has produced. His approach is very similar to mine and the results are very nice, indeed. Look at them on the 31-12-2000:
Wow, that was close. I did not want this millenium to end without a “major” achievement of mine. Although my PC gave me a very hard time recently I found those couple of hours in a row to (almost) complete “project 3”. The preview and link to it can be found on the
I wish you all a happy new year!
12-11-2000: A “project 2” preview can be found on the Dora page. It will be finished earlier than project 1 since I am fighting with light reflections on the latter. Thanks to Falcon for that marvellous model. Visit his site: http://www.messerschmitt-bf109.de29-10-2000: The main page has been revised. Added a reference page to the model builders that produced the basis for my work. Still the first major conversion artwork could not be finished. I will try next weekend. It will display (surprise!) a Dora.
22-10-2000: Some more artwork, some Ta-152 info, most pages have been revised slightly. Message board link now redirected to a Network54 board. Nicer to look at.
15-10-2000: Some minor work done. Added JG5 link.
3-10-2000: Site is up the first time. There is still a lot to do but I could not wait any longer. Pages “Air Racing” and “Air Museums” in the personal section are “readable”. Others will follow soon I hope. I also finished some nice backgrounds in the “History” section.
